A few years ago I got a call from an executive woman leader who asked me if I could help her find a new job. She said she could see the writing on the wall and knew there was a high probability that her job would be eliminated before year’s end. The executive had a networking lunch with a colleague of mine, who suggested she call me.
I told her that I’d be happy to work with her, and that I would cherry-pick some of my best processes and tools for her to use. She jumped into action and hired me as her career coach.
To the delight of both of us, within a few weeks she landed a job that she loved. The job was even better than she had hoped for.
